1. What this site is

UK Chip Trail is an independent publisher comparing gambling operators licensed by the Gambling Commission. It is not a gambling operator, not a regulator, not an alternative dispute resolution provider, and not owned by or acting for any brand listed on it. No games are offered here, no bets are accepted, no accounts are held and no customer money passes through this site at any point.

2. Age and location

The site is intended for adults aged 18 or over who are in the United Kingdom. Gambling law differs enormously between countries, and it's your responsibility to know whether using an operator's services is lawful where you are. Nothing here is an invitation to gamble anywhere it would be illegal to do so.

3. Information, not advice

Everything published here is general information and editorial opinion. It isn't financial, legal or professional advice, and it isn't a recommendation that any particular person should gamble at all. Grades and rankings are our assessments against published criteria — reasonable people can weigh those criteria differently and reach other conclusions.

4. Accuracy and change

Operators redesign apps, add and drop game studios, change offers and occasionally lose or surrender licences. We check information when we publish it and revise it when we notice a change, but we can't promise that every detail is current at the moment you read it. Where anything here conflicts with an operator's own terms and conditions, the operator's terms are the ones that govern your relationship with them. Always read them before registering.

5. Commercial links

Outbound links to operators are commercial and may earn us a commission, as set out in the affiliate disclosure. This has no effect on price, offers or terms for you, and no effect on how we grade a site.

6. Third-party sites

We link to operators, regulators and support organisations. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, terms or the way they handle your data. A link is not an endorsement of everything a third party publishes or does.

7. Intellectual property

The text, layout, illustrations, brand mark and code on this site belong to UK Chip Trail unless stated otherwise. You're welcome to quote short extracts with a credit and a link. Wholesale copying, republishing our comparison content, or scraping the site for reuse is not permitted. Operator names and logos are the property of their respective owners and appear here for identification in an editorial context.

8. Acceptable use

Don't attempt to disrupt the site, gain unauthorised access to any part of it, or use it in a way that breaks the law. Don't send us content you don't have the right to share.

9. Availability

The site is provided as it is. We aim to keep it up and correct, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and pages may be changed or removed without notice.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses arising from your use of this site or from decisions you make based on it — including gambling losses at any operator listed here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
